Introduction of Village
Identification:-
This village is known as Thoha Khalsa. The name was given by the administration of Sub-continent of this region during 18th century on demand of Sikh community. This name is still used to refer this village. Presently entire population of this village is Muslim, having strong religious believes, about 80% of existing families were migrated from Jammu and other areas of Sub-contenent in 1947.

The village is located in the East of Rawalpindi city at the distance of 45 kilometers. The distance from Rawat GT Road to this village is 25 Kilometers. The road track is properly constructed to link Thoha Khalsa with high way.
Demography:-
The population is about 20,000 consisting different tribes named Janjua Rajput, Ghakhar ,Mirza, Bhati and few others. The language used by the people is Pothohari.
Occupation:-
The majority of people is Labour. Some people are serving in different Government / Civil organizations of Pakistan. However about 4% are working in foreign countries and few are serving their country through business.
